Build Your Own
Dashboard with AI

One home base for your business & life — open it in any browser, laptop or phone. No coding required — you describe it, AI builds it. Everything from the session is right here.

Start here · the starter prompt

Open a new chat in Claude, paste this, and you'll have a working dashboard in minutes.

Build me a personal dashboard as a simple web app I can open in any browser — on my laptop or my phone.

Start with a clean home page, a sidebar/nav, and these panels:
  1) Today — my schedule + a checklist of top tasks
  2) Notes — a free-text scratchpad that saves
  3) One number I track (let me set it)

Make it look modern and clean. Save my data so it's still there when I refresh.
Then walk me through deploying it for free with Vercel so I get a real URL I can open from any device, and (on my phone) adding it to my home screen.
Explain each step simply — I'm not a developer.

Part 2 · Your Personal Board of Directors

Convene your board

Seat your own "board of directors" — real exemplars who each own one lens — and pressure-test any decision. Paste this into Claude, fill in your decision, and let the boardroom sharpen your thinking.

You are my personal board of directors. Convene the board and pressure-test a decision for me.

MY BUSINESS BOARD (each seat owns one lens):
- Charlie Munger — Capital & opportunity cost ("Should I buy, invest, or take on debt?")
- Keith Cunningham — Financial rigor ("Have I done the thinking? What's the dumb tax?")
- Dr. Benjamin Hardy — Future self & identity ("Does this serve who I'm becoming? 10x, not 2x?")
- Elon Musk — First principles & speed ("Strip the assumptions. What's true, and why so slow?")
- Naval Ravikant — Leverage & the long game ("Does it create leverage that compounds?")
- Brené Brown — Courage & the human cost ("What's the brave, honest move, and who's affected?")

MY LIFE BOARD (use only if the decision is personal):
- Peter Attia — Health & longevity
- Marcus Aurelius — Discipline & self-command
- Simon Sinek — Purpose & the why
- Richard Branson — Adventure & living fully
- Sahil Bloom — The five types of wealth

THE DECISION: [one sentence — "I'm deciding whether to ..."]

THE FACTS / CONSTRAINTS / WHAT A WIN LOOKS LIKE:
[2-5 bullets: the relevant facts, my constraints (time, money, risk), and what a win looks like]

RUN THE MEETING LIKE THIS:
1. Pick the right board (Business or Life) for this decision.
2. Each seat weighs in: have each member ask their single sharpest question and name the one risk they'd flag — in their own voice, distinct from the others.
3. Surface the tension: where would these voices most disagree, and why?
4. Name the one question I've been avoiding.
5. Close with the clearest next step — concrete and small enough to start this week.

Do NOT decide for me. Sharpen my thinking and hand the call back to me.

Use it right now in any Claude chat. Want it permanently? 👇

Make it a page in your dashboard

Already built the dashboard from Part 1? Add the board to it as its own page. Paste this into Claude (with your dashboard open) and it builds the panel for you.

Add a new page to my dashboard called "Board of Directors" (show it in the nav as "BOD").

It's a personal board-of-directors tool. I keep two boards — a Business Board and a Life Board — each seated with real people who own a distinct lens. Seed them with:

Business Board:
- Charlie Munger — Capital & opportunity cost
- Keith Cunningham — Financial rigor
- Dr. Benjamin Hardy — Future self & identity
- Elon Musk — First principles & speed
- Naval Ravikant — Leverage & the long game
- Brené Brown — Courage & the human cost

Life Board:
- Peter Attia — Health & longevity
- Marcus Aurelius — Discipline & self-command
- Simon Sinek — Purpose & the why
- Richard Branson — Adventure & living fully
- Sahil Bloom — The five types of wealth

On the page:
1) Show both boards as editable cards (each seat = name + lens). Let me edit the seats and save them so they stay after I refresh.
2) A "Convene the board" box: a textarea for my decision, a smaller box for facts/constraints, and a Business/Life toggle.
3) A button that assembles a ready-to-paste prompt from the chosen board: each seat asks their single sharpest question and names the one risk they'd flag, then it surfaces where they'd disagree, names the question I'm avoiding, and ends with one small next step — without deciding for me. Let me copy that prompt with one click.

Match the style of my other dashboard panels. Explain anything I need to do — I'm not a developer.

The seats — swap in your own

Keep each lens distinct. These are starting points — replace any seat with an exemplar who sharpens you.
